WCSO Kids Summer Camp

Camp Rosemary

Bring the kids for art projects including tie dye tees, sand art, and glitter tattoos from 12-4 p.m. Monday through Friday in June and July in Rosemary Beach. Cost is $5-$20 per craft. Not a drop of program.

A sports and talent workshop includes soccer and baseball to juggling and magic for ages 8-17 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday in June and July.

Ohana Camps

Fourth through 12th graders can be a rock star from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the week of June 24 at Ohana Record's Summer Rock Camp in Rosemary Beach. On Friday, students will put on a mini-concert for family and friends at the studio.

Songwriting Camp will be held from 1-3 p.m. June 24-28 to develop songwriting skills. Students showcase a new song on Friday. Call 708-2150 or email jmitchell@ohanainstitute.org.

Holy Kidz Summer Camp

Holy Kidz Summer Camp provides a fun wholesome Christ-centered summer experience for children entering K-5th grade. Camps include games, activities, field trips, arts, crafts, cooking, Spanish, science, opportunities for learning and great times with new friends. Cost is $100/week for first child; $80/second child. Call 586-8264.

Sessions at Destiny Worship Center, Miramar Beach Campus, will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 24-28 and July 8-12. Waterday every Friday at the Emerge Campus. Register at holykidzcamps.com.

Surf school

Ride On Surf School, on the beach behind Captain Dave's restaurant on Scenic Hwy. 98 in Miramar Beach, will host the following events. Call 240-7822 or visit www.rideonsurf.com.

• Billabong Surf Camp: Three-hour surf instruction from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $80 and includes T-shirt, goody bag. Additional days,$50.

• Group Surf Lessons: One hour instruction and one hour free surf time for 2 or more people. Cost is $55/person.

• Ride On Surf Camp: For those wanting multiple visits throughout the summer, two hour surf instruction daily (choose your times). Cost is $40/person for four or more lessons.

• Mini Surf Lesson: A half hour introductory surf instruction. Cost is $30/person.

WCSO Kids Summer Camp

First through fourth graders can hang out with the Walton County Sheriff's Office School Resource Deputies and meet Sheriff Adkinson from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8-12 at Maude Sanders Elementary School.

Activities include law enforcement demonstrations, team building, water activities, games, workshops, environmental education and much more.

Summer day camps

Camps sponsored by 4-H will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Walton County Extension Office in DeFuniak Springs, unless noted. Call 892-8172.

• Dig into Legos at 10 a.m. June 26 at Walton County Coastal Branch Library, 437 Greenway Trail in Santa Rosa Beach. Call 267-2809 or 892-8172 to reserve place.

• Arts & Crafts for ages 8 and up July 8-11. Cost is $30 and includes many different activities — coffee can bird feeders, tie-dye shirts, and more. Snacks provided; bring a sack lunch.

• Diggin’ in the Dirt Gardening Camp for ages 8 and up July 15-18. Learn about herbs, fruits, vegetables, flowers, which plants attract butterflies, and more. Cost is $30. Snacks provided; bring a sack lunch.
