Kids' Summer 2013

 Sessions will be held June 17-227 and July 15-25, Monday through Thursday, with half-day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 noon or 12:30 to 3:20 p.m., or full-day sessions, 9 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.  For an additional fee, extended day options are available from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer Dance Camp

The Niceville High School Eaglettes’ Dance Team will host a summer dance camp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 13 and 14 for girls ages 4-12. A dance showcase will be held at 6 p.m. June 14 featuring all the dance campers. The princess-themed camp will include dance instruction, arts and crafts, lunch, movies and story time. The registration fee is $50/first child and $40/each additional child per family. Registration forms may be picked up at the NHS Attendance Office or local elementary schools.

30A Dancewave

Barefoot Broadway Kids musical theater camps for ages 6-12 will be held from 1-3:30 p.m. June 17-July 19 at 30A Dancewave in Seaside. For one week, work on the fundamentals of musical theater and the art of the production number and focus on stage direction, character development, improvisation, vocal technique, simple choreography and auditioning. Present a production number at end of week. Wear comfortable workout clothes; hair pulled back away from face. Light snack and water provided.

Dancewave Dance Team Camp will be held from 3-5 p.m. July 29-Aug. 2. Students will focus on the dance moves they do best and produce one, maybe two dance numbers as a result.  Open to all girls and boys who love the art of dance.  Wear leotards, tights, tank tops and jazz pants; dance shoes required.  Hair must be pulled back in bun or neat ponytail. Light snack and water provided.
