Land owners can present information they believe make their properties suitable for a sports complex.
Any property to be considered must be in South Walton and have at least 20 contiguous acres. It also must be an upland parcel suitable for building with permanent or granted access to a major thoroughfare.
Land owners who want to present their property can register to speak at the meeting by contacting the county’s Department of Public Information at 951-7101 or at WaltonAdmin@co.walton.fl.us.
Each presenter will be allotted 10 minutes. The county will provide a laptop and projector. Presenters must bring five copies of their presentation to be left with the workshop facilitators.
Property owners should include the following information when the register:
• Property owner/presenter name, phone number and email (if applicable);
• Address and location of property;
• Size of property;
• Copy of PowerPoint presentation or presentation notes.
The registration deadline is at 5 p.m. next Tuesday.
