Ever wanted to be a hit on the dance floor with your exciting dance moves? Learn how with a little help from Yoshi.

Yowceph Haddad, known as Yoshi, teaches dance at Sandestin Fitness Center every Tuesday night and at The Ocean Club on Wednesdays.

On Tuesdays, it's Salsa with Yoshi. However, in private classes, he also teaches merengue, the cha cha for beginners and higher levels, all Latin dances, and basic and intermediate bachata, which he describes as slower and easier to pick up than salsa.

Yoshi has been teaching dance for three years. He moved to Miramar Beach from New York City in December.

"I needed a break from New York City ," he said.

Until college, his love of music was mainly expressed through instruments such as the violin, piano, and guitar.

Yoshi said he developed a passion for dance while attending college at Notre Dame when he joined the University's urban dance crew Project Fresh as a breakdancer in 2007.
