There were plenty of party choices all around South Walton last weekend, beginning last Wednesday night when the local chapter of Florida Public Relations Association held its annual holiday fundraiser Toast on the Coast at Tommy Bahama's.

The fun continued Thursday night when Lydia Smith's former co-workers from Sandestin Fitness Center and Spa gathered at Carrabba's for a going away dinner for her. Jim and Ann Blount, Jim and Gail Lockwood, Carol Annino, Doreen and Jerry Baca, Miranda Adams, Wally Weisenborn, Sam Gibbens, John and Michelle Russell, Jim Reagan, and Betsy Bobo were some who attended.

I also saw Beverly and Greg Schmitt while at Carrabba's.

That same night, the Coastal Conservation Association held its annual fundraiser dinner and auction at Fish Out of Water. Lots of people there bidding and enjoying the good food and drink, including Billy and Kelly Buzzett, Clayton and Katie Bonjean, Sister O'Connell, Andy and Jennifer McAlexander, George Barnes, Jimbo Holloway, Garner and Farmer Chandler, Oli and Kyle Petit, Philippe Petit, Payson and Steve Howard.

I enjoyed dinner at Café Laredo Friday night with Robert and Marinella Monk and their friends from Corsica. Prior to dinner, Marinella played Christmas music on the harp for guests at her home, including Steve and Cindy Abbott, Kay Crawford, Cindy Launch, and Gerry and Laurie Graves.

I saw Jon and Teri Vice at Wine World that same night.
