WCSO arrests two on organized scheme to defraud

WZEP AM 1460

The Walton County Sheriff's Office arrested 21-year-old Michael Chaise Nowling and 41-year-old Kimberly Teal Johnson, both of DeFuniak Springs, on one count each of Organized Scheme to Defraud.
Johnson had worked for the Dune Allen Realty in Santa Rosa Beach. Nowling had started his own maintenance company in 2005 called 30A Maintenance. His company was handling the majority of the vending maintenance business connected to Dune Allen Realty. Johnson assisted her son in the operation of 30A Maintenance. Charges were made to the Dune Allen Realty Homeowner's accounts showing work billed by 30A Maintenance that was never performed.
