Missing deer head from Virginia results in theft claim in Bay
PANAMA CITY — A Panama City man has accused a man in Virginia of stealing a stuffed deer head.
Coyt Jordan III, 56, of 4332 Garrison Road told Bay County Sheriff’s Office deputies on July 20 he sold two stuffed deer heads to a man in Mechanicsville, Va., and mailed the items.
After receiving the heads, the buyer decided he wanted to return them. On July 27, Jordan received the package that was supposed to contain the heads, but when he opened it there was only one. Jordan told deputies he had already refunded the buyer the money for both heads.
Jordan said he was trying to recover his money but needed a police report to do so.
