Amavida Coffee Shop in Rosemary Beach is opening its most unique art exhibit to date with artist Alan Moore's "Music Non-Stop."

"Music Non-Stop" is a music-themed exhibit of rock 'n roll-inspired bottle caps arranged into the shape of guitars.

Moore spent a year collecting old steel and aluminum beer can tabs and bottle tops, buying them from various collectors from all over the world — from South Korea, Thailand, Lithuania, Germany, and Canada — with this project in mind.

"I wanted to do something unique," he said.

While using odd, used, and reclaimed materials in his creations is not new to Moore, the guitar exhibit is his most ambitious body of work to date.

Moore used more than 1,200 vintage steel soda and beer cans and more than 3,500 bottle caps in creating the 31 guitars on exhibit representing 50 to 60 years of music. Eight of those were inspired by music from Moore's elementary-school years to present day —  from the Beatles to Bjork, from Simon and Garfunkel to Sigur Ros.

With purchase of those eight pieces, Moore is including an LP from one of his favorite artists.
