Investigators work Niceville scene where skeletal remains found (UPDATED w/ PHOTOS)
NICEVILLE — Crime scene investigators worked through the night and into Monday morning processing the scene where a body was found Sunday night.
By 11 a.m., Niceville Police could report no more than what had been released the night before.

“There is absolutely nothing new,” said Lt. Randy Sallee. “We’re not going to comment on anything before we find out what we’ve got. As soon as we find out we’ll let you know.”
Sallee did confirm that the Medical Examiner’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforce-ment were on the scene in a wooded area just off the Emergency Room entrance of the Twin City Hospi-tal complex.
The night before children playing in the woods had discovered human skeletal remains.
One man, a registered nurse at the hospital who said he’d formerly worked as a police officer, said the wooded area was known to be frequented by vagrants.
