Yes, the Dog Days of Summer are upon us. And as it gets hot and hotter, indoors is looking better and better.
But when not indoors, finding a pool or going to the beach keeps it cool.
As I attempted to keep cool this past weekend, I encountered Karen DesJardins, Michele Silberman, John Stasko, Joe and Kathy Perry, Beverly and Greg Schmitt, Donna and Ed Macdonald, and Cindy McConnell doing the same.
During one of the spouts of rain last weekend I took in "Jersey Boys." Juries are divided on how the movie stacks up to the Broadway version. Now that I have seen both, I will weigh in with "you can't touch Broadway." And that is all I have to say about that.

Did you know that WaterColor's Fish Out of Water restaurant serves breakfast and is open to the public? If you did not, you are missing out. It is fabulous; especially enjoyed from the second-floor deck. I highly recommend the vanilla-bourbon French toast.
My son and his sweet bride departed on Saturday after a week's vacation. The short time together was sweet, and the parting was hard. I hope they come back soon. They had lunch at Havana Beach Bar & Grill while here and said the service was exceptional.
