It was another big one on the coast.

Walton County Chamber of Commerce kicked off the weekend Thursday night with Business After Hours at J. Miller Furniture in Miramar Beach. Meg Warrington, Joe Serrato, Jim Bagby, Wanda Duke, and Ray Bob Miller were seen enjoying wine and munchies from Zoe's Kitchen.

That same night, Redd entertained at the new Enzo's location on U.S. Highway 98.

Saturday night was the weekend's show stopper with Sinfonia's celebration of its own seven years and 007 James Bond. Lisa Burwell, Zandra Wolfgram, Chuck and Shirley Simpson, Lynn Dugas, Nancy Cottle, Nancy Stanley, Dennis Lichorwic, Kate Kelley, Jennifer and Blevins Howard, Lorre and Bob James, Wanda Duke, Francois and Jo Ann Benard, Meg Warrington, Joe and Lea Capers, and Michael Dobson enjoyed the 007 event held at the Emerald Coast Conference Center.

On Sunday, Francois Benard held his book signing and reading of his poetry at Tops'l. I thank him for mentioning me at the reading. About 75 people turned out to hear him, which is not bad for a lovely Sunday afternoon. Candace Abuvala was one of those.

Chuck and Shirley Simpson celebrated their 60 years of marriage Sunday afternoon with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Sandestin's Beach Club with a plethora of friends surrounding them.

Geoff McBride entertained at The Vue on 30A Sunday night.
