Seagar's Prime Steak House held a grand re-opening soiree last Tuesday night with wine and passed hors d'oeuvres to show off the restaurant's $1 million worth of upgrades. Tom Becnel, Kitty Whitney, Karen Cooksey, Johnny Earles, Kent and Peggy Lillie, Gary Brielmayer, Stacey and Mike Brady, Chuck and Shirley Simpson and their daughter, Kay Phelan, Lance Greenwald, Dawn Moliterno, and Rhonda Chaloupka attended.

The Pauls family hosted the Walton County Chamber's Business After Hours last Thursday night at their Celebration Hall, where attendees enjoyed wine and food catered by Emerald Coast Catering. 

St. Rita held another fish fry last Friday night. Even though the rain was coming down, they fed almost 500. Nancy McConnell, John Stasko, Jamie Conley, Kathy Houlihan, Paula Michalak, Chick and Cathy Huettel, Joe Colello, and Tom O'Hare served and/or enjoyed.

Meg Warrington, Pam Flow, Chris Scott, and Wanda Duke helped Diane Parsonnet celebrate her birthday at Tommy Bahama Tropical Cafe last Friday night.

Frank Day watched son Jason exchange wedding vows with his fiancée Amber Archer last Saturday at Camp Helen.

I took in the book sale at Coastal Branch Library on Saturday. Carol and Bob Saucier, Mary Lutz, and John Stasko were there.

I enjoyed a great Sunday morning brunch at Marie's Bistro this week. The seafood omelet with grits and cinnamon biscuits was yummy. I saw Tom and Dana Saffel there.
