I left South Walton last Tuesday in the early morning hours with my sights set on our nation's capitol. It was to be my first time back to that city since the summer I was 14. D.C. is a beautiful city. What made it more beautiful is that I was meeting my baby there and spending three days with her.
She was going there to receive the award of Examiner of the Year from the National Credit Union Administration for Region 3. It was a very proud day for both of us. My daughter's seventh-grade math teacher from
On my return, I welcomed my first born and her boyfriend to the beach, who helped us celebrate Memorial Day and contributed to South Walton's economy. The ribs and grilled chicken were great, as well as getting to spend time with and catching up with them.
The beach and pool were fab over the holiday. I saw Jane Beene, Michele and Jack Silberman, Judi and Jeff Sikora, Paula Carter, and Tiffanie Shelton there.
