Emily Ellis has three photographs hanging in the current 25th annual Faces & Facets Photography Competition and Exhibition at the Visual Arts Center in Panama City. She won First Place in the "Nature" category. This is her second year to compete in this exhibition. She also has one painting hanging in the current "One Size Fits All" show at Northwest Florida State College and she has submitted two paintings and one photograph for consideration in the upcoming "Back to Nature" show at Hidden Lantern Gallery. Wow!

Congratulations to my daughter and her crew who raised more than $125,000 during this year's annual Signature Chefs Auction of Birmingham.

Congratulations to Allison Craft and Scott Henderson on their engagement.

Happy 17th anniversary to Lisa and Gerald Burwell. Happy 13th to Mike and Deidra Stange.

Condolences go out to Greig Buckley in the death of his father in Nashville.

Wish a "happy birthday" SAturday to Nancy McConnell, Anne Hunter, Lauren Magli, and Cookie Siskin.

Monday to Catherine Dickson, and artist Billie Gaffrey.
