And also in Publix, I recognized a man from Alaqua's photo who recently adopted Hoodwink and Tuptim at the shelter. He said Hoodwink is being renamed Reaper.

RoseAnn Knight hosted a "sip and see" get together for ladies at her lovely Gulf Place home last Sunday afternoon. Pam Sibley, Carole Bergstrom, Judy Zito, Kay Crawford, Robbie Carroll, Linda Banning, Lindsay Huurman, Margie Bach, Christy Burke, Carol Stovsky, Claudia Droy, Peggy Lillie, and Carol Saucier were among the host of women attending.

Thirty members of the Women's Art Network met at the Seagrove home of Donna Vann on Feb. 11. 

Ampy and Fred Cox just returned home from a month-long trip to Australia and New Zealand. Ampy said they had been there eight years ago and loved it so much they wanted to go back. She reports a great return visit. They stayed with friends in Lake Taupo, Auckland on the North Island for a few days. Ampy said if it weren't so far away, they would move there. "New Zealand is just gorgeous and the people very friendly, plus their accent is so cute!" she said.

But that wasn't the only exciting news Ampy had to share: When she was asked the question in December of what she wanted to find under her Christmas tree, she said a card from her youngest son and his wife announcing they were expecting. Well, when she got to Atlanta from New Zealand, she was told just that! They are due early September. Needless to say, Ampy is thrilled to be expecting her first grandbaby!
