Last week and this week were busy ones in South Walton with lots of events going on.

Florida Public Relations Association held their monthly luncheon at Seascape last Tuesday. Stacey Brady, Rhonda Murray, and Lauren Gall were some who attended.

Stacey Brady, Myra Williams, Jim Bagby, Mike McIntosh, Cynthia Kennedy, Lea Capers, and Ann Kief attended Walton Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours last Thursday night at Travinia at Grand Boulevard.

I saw Jimmy Milam at Wine World on Friday. Always good to see him and get a hug. John Morris and Jackie Cox were there also.

St. Rita's bi-weekly fish fry saw 528 hungry folks come through last Friday. Catherine Dickson, Chick and Cathy Huettel, John Stasko, Tony and Micheline Riggio, Keith and RoseAnn Knight, Tom Roach, Joe Colello, and Sarah Modica were there.

The first-ever Furry Fun Fest benefiting Alaqua Animal Refuge and H.E.A.R.T Animal Rescue was last Saturday at Gulf Place. For a first-time event, I was amazed at the number of people and dogs that turned out. But, it was a beautiful day for it. Kris Johnson, KB and Robby Dalal, RoseAnn Knight, Dwight Ward, Claudia and Brad Droy, Robin and Charles Wiesneth, Marinella Monk, Laurie Hood, Chase Johnson, Julie and Tim Brown, Donna and Ed Macdonald, Tonia Shatzel and Rob Wood, Chris Scott, Janice and Carl Fedkenheur, Linda Quinlan, Robert McCullar, and Dorothy Starbuck were some who came out.

That afternoon I enjoyed seeing Michele Silberman, Carl and Janice Fedkenheur, and Ed and Donna Macdonald at The Vue.
