Coming back off a short hiatus, the quarterly Grape Nuts wine tasting social for female members of Santa Rosa Beach Club is back. The ladies gathered at The Vue last Tuesday night and enjoyed a variety of French wines selected and served by Southern Wine & Spirits' Kathy Fly Bridges. Betty Krika, Ann Kief, Karen Schoonover, RoseAnn Knight, Debra Cannon, Nan Sroufe, Karen DesJardins, and Nan Ream were some who enjoyed. Chef Gio's tapas were tasty as usual.

Doug and Jane Anderson, Beverly and Greg Schmitt, and Lahrye and Nancy Radford enjoyed dinner at The Vue that night.

I hear that Chan and Laura Cox hosted a big victory celebration at their Destin Wine World location following FSU's big win.

Last Wednesday night was the Cultural Arts Alliance's kick off for the 30A Songwriter's Festival with a free concert and social for CAA members at WaterColor. Joan Vienot, Susan Alfieri, Joyce Hogue, and Shelly Swanger were some who attended.

Our Juan Adaro's artwork is hanging at Giovanni Rossi Fine Art gallery in Fort Lauderdale. His artwork also was a backdrop at one of the 30A Songwriter's Festival venues and graced the front of T-shirts.

JoAnn Graham visited the Tampa Museum of Art. Her son, Marcus, created the artwork on notebooks for the Augustan Producers Tour. They loved it and then commissioned him to do 30 pieces of art representing each individual vineyard from California to Argentina to Spain to be auctioned off for charity. The show was a three-day tour starting in Miami, then Naples, and ending in Tampa. This was Marcus' first art show and a huge success for him.

Robin and Charles Wiesneth enjoyed the snow in Idaho, where they, with the aid of a parachute, jumped off the top of Baldy Mountain — 3,300 vertical feet — and reached a speed of 37 mph. Crazy!
