What a great time to be at the beach ... with very few folks out on the sand as far as you can see.

I saw Lorene Gruzdis, John Stasko, and the Jimbo Holloway family at the not-crowded pool last weekend, and I met a new couple there who told me they have read my Party Line column for years while living in New Jersey before moving down here. Wow!

I enjoyed happy hour at Tommy Bahama's last Friday night with Brenda and Jim Radtke. The fish tacos and pork sliders with wine hit the spot. We saw Mario Mardones, Russ Noblitt, and Mark Northcutt there.

Mike and Angela Ragsdale, Cynthia Archer, and Ashley Johnson enjoyed Grayotn Bar & Grill's first Sunday brunch and hearing the Glen David Andrews Band.

Mark Thompson dropped off one of his prize weekend catches at the Ragsdale's Sunday — a 5-pound lobster. Mark caught two of them not too far off Grayton Beach. Bring one to me next time, Mark!

Real men paint their own coffee mugs. Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George and his wife Tamara visited Seaside recently and painted their own coffee mugs at Fired Up.

Seaside seems to be a celebrity magnet recently and was also visited by actress/teenage witch Melissa Joan Hart, who stopped by Duckies.
