Last week was a busy one.

Lots of folks turned out for the Walton County Chamber's monthly Power of Business luncheon held at Baytowne's Azalea Ballroom last Wednesday to hear John Heiser, Jay Odom, and Tom Becnel speak. Stacey Brady, Scott Russell, John Russell, Kitty Whitney, Jim Bagby, Sheryl Johnston, and Kellie Jo Kilberg were some who attended.

Mitchell's Fish Market held a special four-course dinner last Thursday night that was paired with four handcrafted cocktails.

Chi Chi Miguel's Sip 'N' Shop was held last Friday at Le Ciel. Laurie Hood, Lauren Gall, Jessica Proffitt, Demetrius Fuller, Rhonda Murray, Valerie Thompson, Heather Tate, and Jill Tanner were some who enjoyed.

Afterwards, Michael and Valerie Thompson hosted their annual Chi Chi Miguel Throwdown at their Sandestin home. Brenda and Phil Nunnery, and Tiffanie Shelton attended.

Friday evening, the Cultural Arts Alliance held its opening reception for its A+ Art Top of the Class exhibit at Northwest Florida State College's South Walton annex. Buz Livingston, Mary Zahner, Betty Cork, Robin Wiesneth, Melissa Brown, Beckie Perrott, Nancy James, Judy Dewar, Joan Vienot, Suzanne West, Kristina Perry, Lori Drew, Ann Welch, Melody Bogle, Heather Clements, Charlotte Arnold, Carol Wenrick, Susan Lucas, and Donnelle Clark were some in the standing-room-only crowd.

Congratulations to Barbara May whose artwork is featured in the new Beaches of South Walton Visitor's Guide.
