PARTYLINE: 'Tis the season for charities

Seemingly as a prelude to the kickoff of the charitable giving season, Sinfonia opened its musical season Oct. 24 at Emerald Coast Conference Center . Steve Barber, Nancy Cottle, Michael Dobson, Lauren Gall, Kate Kelley, Jennifer Howard, Sun Editor William Hatfield and Cory Fosdyck were some who attended.

Brian and Kathy Haugen hosted their annual Savor the Season event at Caliza on Nov. 6 to benefit the Taylor Haugen Foundation. South Waltoners Kim and Keen Polakoff were two who attended.

The next night Children's Volunteer Health Network Executive Director Zach Billingsley presided over the unveiling of this year's Cottages 4 Kids, on display at Rosemary Beach. Hannah Billingsley, Jami and Emery Ray, Jennifer Steele, Elaine Ashman, Ted and Carol Missildine, Shaye Smith, Michelle Joly, and Nikki Nickerson were some South Waltoners who attended, as well as HGTV's Vern Yip.

Last weekend was so beautiful at the beach! On one of my walks, I found a perfect sand dollar.

Then, it was game day in the South.

Kelli Siler watched Bama take LSU in Tuscaloosa .

Greg and Beverly Schmitt went to Tally to watch FSU, and celebrated 15 years together last weekend.
