Pianist Seering presents Sinatra and Diamond

Pianist David Seering will present his second-annual concert benefiting Children In Crisis on Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. at Village Baptist Church in Destin.

"I try to do something every year to give back to the community, and Children In Crisis is a great organization that is doing some great things," said Seering. "They are a local organization and high caliber. I am happy to be able to help them."

Seering has been involved with CIC for the past three years and has gotten to know the organization's president and CEO well.

Last year, Seering brought in pianist Bobby van Deusen from Pensacola to join him in the performance.

This year, Seering will be joined onstage by the 12-piece Michael Walker Band in concert and by special guest Gina Walker in paying tribute to Neil Diamond and Frank Sinatra.

Last year's concert was almost a sellout, said CIC President Ken Hair, who expects to see the same again this year.

"David is popular with the snowbirds and he gives an outstanding performance," said Hair.
