The Gulf Coast Jam is about to take over Panama City Beach this Labor Day weekend, featuring some of the biggest names in country music. Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley and many more will take the stage to rock the Emerald Coast from sunup to sundown. It’s a weekend celebrating country music, and for some of the up and coming artists, it’s a huge opportunity.

Jon Pardi, who released his debut album this year titled Write You a Song, will take the stage this weekend to perform for his growing fan base. When he started writing country music at the age 12, Pardi connected instantly to the family-oriented, down-home music and knew he’d found his calling.

“I just love to get out and play music for my fans,” Pardi said. “Now that I have an album out and singles on the radio, it’s fun to see people singing along to my songs. It’s about having fun — I want my music to be upbeat, high energy and positive — things you want to listen to.”

Pardi may be new to the scene, but he’s already toured with big name acts like Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Gary Allan and Alan Jackson. Now, with his first Top 10 single “Up All Night” climbing the charts, Pardi recently announced his Up All Night Tour, his first-ever headlining club tour kicking off this fall. And in his spare time, Pardi will be joining Dierks Bentley, Chris Young and Chase rise on the Riser tour.

“It’s so much fun touring with these guys and getting to know them,” Pardi said. “I get to hear their stories and get some advice. One thing that stuck with me was something Luke Bryan once told me. He said, ‘The longer it takes, the more time you get to figure it out.’”

Jon Pardi will join a huge lineup of artists this weekend at the Gulf Coast Jam Aug. 29-31 in Panama City Beach . For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.gulfcoastjam.com.
