RON HART: Crash and burn, the mystery

Obama also pushed ObamaCare when he appeared on TV to fill out his March Madness brackets. He has Putin taking Poland after Russia got past Ukraine in the first bye round.

Maybe when Obama goes on American Idol next week with his pick for the winner, Ryan Seacrest will ask him hard questions: Why have only a fraction of his administration’s predicted seven million signed up for the great ObamaCare? How many of them have actually paid? How many just were shoved into the existing Medicaid system that we all will have to pay for?

Joe Biden was even dispatched to The View to peddle the failing ObamaCare, which represented a first for Joe. With Elisabeth Hasselbeck gone, he was finally the smartest person in the room.

Most followers of Obama thought ObamaCare was to be free. Imagine their surprise if they signed up anyway. If we know anything about those who mooch off government offerings, their money is good when it comes to paying for things on the honor system.

Watching Democrats stand by ObamaCare is like witnessing the wives of Eliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner standing by them at their press conferences.

Instead of arguing on the merits, O-bots attack anyone who opposes them. The White House and its subsidiaries in the media went after Matt Drudge this week, calling him a liar when he said he had just paid his first ObamaCare penalty. They said it did not kick in till next year, and excoriated him for lying. Well the clownish media were wrong again and Matt Drudge was right. He paid (like all businesses have to) his quarterly tax payments for next year to include his ObamaCare penalty. Drudge was right, those who wrote and implemented the law were wrong.

Young kids will find no reason to pay the high ObamaCare rates. They are either covered under their parents’ plan, can just pay a $95 tax penalty, and are covered for preexisting conditions. If anything happens, they can just go buy insurance and we all will pay the bill. It’s like not having car insurance; you just bring the crashed car in and get paid if you have a wreck. ObamaCare is starting to make Vietnam , Iraq and Afghanistan look like well thought out plans.
