This year's show features 22 artists exhibiting their view of the local landscape.

The artists worked across various media from the traditional to the contemporary — oil to photography to glass mosaic, and Scenes of South Walton originally presented a collection of 38 works. Some pieces have already sold.

Other exhibiting local artists include: Margaret Biggs, Didon Comer, Jamie Conley, Betty Cork, Judy Dewar, Lori Drew, Emily Ellis, Kathy Harrah, JoAnne Jones, Peggy Jones, Linda Kernick, Sue Carol Knight, Helga C. Letourneau, Susan Lucas, Melanie Moore, Patricia Overholt, Rebecca Perrot, Christine Ramey, Janet and Steve Thomas, and Domi Williams.

SWCC is a nonpartisan, nonprofit coalition of several hundred residents, property owners, employees, neighborhoods and business owners established in 1995. SWCC's mission is to preserve and protect the unique coastal environment and enhance the quality of life for all who visit or choose to call South Walton home.

Scenes of South Walton was originally scheduled to be up through Nov. 3, but Carvalho said interest in the art has been strong and will likely be kept longer.
