Fund set up to assist injured Crestview deputy
OLEBA, the Okaloosa Law Enforcement Benevolent Association, is making a donation of $2500 to assist Deputy Randy Joiner and his family with unexpected and costly expenses incurred as a result of a serious car accident while on duty May 19th.
Deputy Joiner is currently recovering at West Florida Regional Hospital where he is undergoing intensive physical therapy after suffering multiple broken bones and internal injuries in the three-car accident. Another driver was cited for violation of right-of-way.
OLEBA is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting the families of any law enforcement officer in Okaloosa County who is killed in the line-of-duty, as well as any officer who suffers serious injuries on the job.
Anyone wishing to make a financial donation to benefit Deputy Joiner during this time of need can do so in his name under the Okaloosa Law Enforcement Benevolent trust fund account at any branch of Beach Community Bank.
