South Walton — a place where romance can be found

For Dune Allen's Ted and Celeste Cobena, their most romantic spot is the Dune Lake Trail at Grayton Beach State Park. "That's where Ted and I got engaged 25 years ago," said Celeste.

A walk out on Grayton Beach for sunset does it for Santa Rosa Beach artist Billie Gaffrey.

Seagrove's Beth Coppedge said her most romantic place is Table 36 at Cafe’ Thirty-A in Seagrove. "Bob and I have had many romantic dinners there," she said.

But Gulf Place's Brad Droy said there is no better place than Crust Artisan Bakery to take his Claudia. "Chef’s table; fire burning in the oven; great food; and wine," he said dreamily.

The best response may have come from Miramar Beach's Foster Sanders, however, in the form of a poem. Foster penned:

"The Heart Is The Perfect Place!

"To assure romance is far from dead
