Carol Ann Bliss
Carol Ann Bliss of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully at her home Oct. 30, 2009, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born April 15, 1952, in Lancaster, Calif. She grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and graduated from Choctawhatchee High School, Class of 1970.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Signe Vita, and brother, Frankie Vita.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Bruce Mixon; brother, John Vita and sister-inlaw, Patricia, of Branson, Mo.; sister, Betty Vita of Freeport, Fla.; two nieces, Danja Delaney (Dustin) of Hollister, Mo., and Jennifer Vita of Branson; two nephews, Jacob Gadomski and Brenden Delaney of Hollister; and many longtime friends and loving relatives.
Carol enjoyed the outdoors. She loved gardening, the beach, fishing and taking care of her animals. She was a caregiver of so many people and thought of others first.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. We will miss her beautiful spirit that drew so many people to her. She finally is at peace in the loving arms of Jesus.
A memorial service will be scheduled by the family in December.
