In the third inning with two outs, Lance and Roberts hit back-to-back singles but were left stranded when the next Seahawk struck out.

South Walton came up empty in the fourth on a pop fly, a run down for an out and a strike out.

In the top the sixth, the Wildcats picked up another run on a hit and an error.

South Walton answered in the bottom half with one last run. With two outs, Tyler Slotter singled and moved around to second on a wild pitch. Slotter later scored on a double to left field by Neville.

In the top of the seventh, DCA scored two runs on a hit and two errors.

"The biggest thing I saw was bad base running over and over and getting picked off at first," Borthwick said. "I was disappointed in the breakdown."

The other downfall for the South Walton was leaving runners on base.
