SPLIT DECISION: Seahawks divided on the diamond in double header

"That's been a common theme for us … we're having trouble getting the big hits. It will be nice to see a four or five hit inning instead of a one or two."

In the earlier game, against University School of Nashville, junior Seahawk pitcher Tuck Stafford got the win.

"We hit the ball a bit better and they made some mistakes," Borthwick said. "We pitched well and played good defense … it was totally a different game."

The Seahawks, now 7-4, will travel to Paxton for a 6 p.m. game Tuesday.
