North Carolina Prison Escapee Sought in Bay County

The Bay County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who escaped from a prison in Greensboro, N.C., on March 14, 2009.
Billy Michael Sutton was last see earlier today, June 24, 2009, in the parking lot of the Panama City Mall. Sutton fled from BCSO Warrants deputies as they attempted to take him into custody.
Sutton was convicted of robbery with a dangerous weapon and was serving his sentence in a Guilford County, North Carolina facility when he escaped. Sutton was driving a silver 2005 Mercury Sable, North Carolina tag YPK8753.
