Rosemary Beach is again letting corks fly on some mighty fine wines Oct. 20 when Rosemary Beach Uncorked returns for its third year.

Eight of the town’s dining establishments, as well as Viking, will be participating in the open-air event that takes place throughout the town center. Each eatery will present food and wine pairings that showcase their unique style and offer guests a delicious culinary experience.

“This is a fun event that brings foodies and wine lovers together,” said Town Center Director Kathy Kemp. “The creativity and skill of each restaurant really shines through and guests have a great time sipping and sampling in such a beautiful setting!”

Participating eateries include Restaurant Paradis, La Crema Tapas & Chocolate, Onano Neighborhood Cafe, Summer Kitchen Cafe, Cowgirl Kitchen, Wild Olives Wine-Cheese-Market, Edward’s Fine Food & Wine and Amavida Coffee.

“The highlight of this event will be the creative menu items and carefully selected wine pairings that each restaurant has put together,” said event producer Hillary Fosdyck, of Monark Events. “Each location will offer signature dishes paired with boutique wines from around the world for a very unique taste of Rosemary.”

Expect to find spectacular menu items such as lump crab cakes with lemon pepper remoulade paired with Lola Dry Riesling at Paradis.  Farther down the cobblestone street at La Crema, find steak chimichurri paired with Tres Picos Garnacha. Savor mushroom ravioli paired with Schug Pinot Noir at Onano Neighborhood Café. If you like tacos, sample the flavorful mini drunken shrimp tacos paired with Illumination Sauvignon Blanc at Cowgirl Kitchen.

And you won’t want to miss out on Summer Kitchen’s slow roasted pork mini-biscuit with vanilla glaze and Twin Oaks Farm fig preserve paired with Tobin James Merlot.  For Italian food lovers, stop by Wild Olives for bruschetta di prosciutto e funghi paired with Castello Banfi Rosso di Montalcino. Be sure to try Edward’s endive and tuna tartare salad paired with Heritance Sauvignon Blanc.
