Whether the Christmas spirit is taking you shopping, dining or to one of many festive events, a Walton County Christmas is unlike any other.

As part of the run-up to the most wonderful time of the year, The Sun is profiling the 12 Days of Christmas from Dec. 13 to Dec 24. While you may have trouble finding a partridge in a pear tree, there are plenty of other options your true love is sure to adore.

Without further ado, we present Walton County’s 12 days of Christmas:

On the first day of Christmas …

Eat at 723 Whiskey Bravo for a good cause. The holiday decorations are up, including a Christmas tree that needs a bit of stocking. Diners are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. Those donating this weekend even receive special happy hour pricing just for giving back. 723 Whiskey Bravo is located at 3031 Scenic Highway 30A in Seagrove Beach. Call 850-213-0015 for more information or visit

On the second day of Christmas …

Stop by YOLO’s new location for the perfect family gift — a YOLO Board Inflatable Package! The package comes complete with custom YOLO backpack, pump, fins, and a 3-piece paddle and 11-foot Inflatable YOLO Board. Visit Dec. 14 (or before) and register to win a free YOLO board. The drawing will be held Dec. 15. The new stand up paddleboarding store is located at 11610 U.S. Hwy 98 West in Miramar Beach. Call 850-424-6852 or visit for more information.
