"It would be a marriage of both store's offerings," said Granberry.

Michael and Laura Granberry moved to South Walton in 2002 and first opened The Art of Simple in Grayton in 2003, then moved it to Seagrove. When they purchased a townhome in Ruskin Place in 2004, they reopened the store on the first floor of their home.

The Granberrys will reopen the space in Ruskin Place under the name "Art Only" and revert back to its roots as an art gallery which will fit with the artist colony atmosphere of the space.

"We plan to carry 10 artists full time as a staple of the gallery, and carry others occasionally," he said. "In addition to hanging art, the gallery will also feature artisan sculpture pieces, one of a kind items, artisan chocolates, and leather. It's what Ruskin Place is all about."

The Art of Simple is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the off season. During busy season, you can find it open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
