While waiting for your order to be prepared, Vickie makes the wait thoroughly enjoyable as she visits with each guest. Or diners can shop the shelves stocked with gourmet jellies, glazes, pretzels, chips, olives, and pancake mixes. 

Ham and pork is also available to order by the pound to take home.

Vickie said being at the new location has been amazing.

"We opened here in mid-November after doing some painting and remodeling and added some chandeliers to the beautiful bones that were already here. Even in the off season, locals, as well as out of towners found us," she said.

As for the gourmet menu, Vickie designed all except the barbecue, as she knew just what she wanted.

The barbecue comes from a three-time world champion pit master, and it is what she calls their signature dish.

Vickie owned a catering company in Atlanta prior to moving to South Walton.
