The South Walton Volunteer Fire Department received a 1,300-gallon tanker/pumper from the state Division of Forestry.

The Northwest Florida Coastal Resource Planning and Management Committee’s transportation subcommittee voted to seek $50,000 for a comprehensive transportation plan for South Walton.

25 years ago — 1989

Chautauqua Festival organizers announced Marie Osmond would highlight the May festival in DeFuniak Springs.
