25 years ago — 1988

The Walton County Airport Authority revised its plan for a proposed airport in South Walton from a commercial airport to a basic transport airport.


10 years ago — 2003

Walton County Code Enforcement determined that Frosty, an inflatable sign at Candace & Company Décor, was not a sign after all and could stay.

Grants from the Department of Education and the St. Joe Community Foundation gave more than $600,000 to Walton County School District .
