Several Grayton Beach property owners requested a land use change for an area known as “ Downtown Grayton Beach ,” which would allow for more intense commercial development. The request was denied.

Destin Boy Scout Troop 504 cleared paths at Grayton Beach State Park .

A lone gunman made off with an undisclosed amount of cash when he robbed the Sandestin branch of Regions Bank.


10 years ago — 2004

Okaloosa, Walton and Bay counties celebrated the completion of the $80 million U.S. Hwy. 98 paving project.
