Pregnant woman struck, injured in hit and run
Panama City Police are investigating a hit and run incident that sent a pregnant woman to the hospital.
EMS officials said the woman, who was hit at about 5:20 p.m., suffered non-life threatening injuries. Sgt. Jeff Becker said the woman was hit at the intersection of 11 Street and Mercedes by a Sports Utility Vehicle similar in type to a Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle could have been tan or beige and was being driven by a black male, Becker added. Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call the Panama City Police Department at 872-3112.
