David Albin Jasin

Mr. David Albin Jasin, 70, passed away Oct. 1, 2012. He was born June 19, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Penn., to Albin and Anne Jasin Kelmeckis.

Mr. Jasin was a resident of Freeport and Catholic by faith. He served his country in the United States Air Force in Turkey as a nuclear launch controller. He came to Florida State University on a football scholarship and graduated in 1964, receiving his bachelor's degree. He owned and operated his own real estate and brokerage company, Cross Creek Realty, on 30A in South Walton. He was a member of the International Executive Service Corps. He enjoyed photography and was an avid reader. He was a PADI Instructor for scuba diving; he also was a world traveler.

Mr. Jasin is preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Jasin is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Rita Jasin, of Freeport; his cat, "Rudy;" and many loving cousins, extended family members and close friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 137 Moll Drive in Santa Rosa Beach with Father Kevin Johnson officiating.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Mayo Clinic the Kidney Foundation Department at 200 1st St. Southwest, Rochester, MN 55905.
