As a result of Mike’s many business adventures, he is well known and respected throughout the community. He dearly loved this area and enjoyed all it had to offer.
Mike was diagnosed with kidney cancer October 2012 and after a long brave battle, he passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 7, 2013.
He will be mourned and forever missed by his surviving family, dear wife, Donna Callahan; brother, Pat Callahan; sister, Sherry Bridgeford; brother, Tim Callahan.
Special thank you to Sacred Heart Oncology and nursing staff for Mike for their devotion and care.
A brief service will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 11 with clergy present at the Chapel at Crosspoint, 1477 South Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach.
Then, we’ll proceed to have a reception to celebrate Mike’s life as he lived it. All are welcome. We will be lonely without him ‘til we meet again, and that is a certainty for you. May his memory be eternal.
