Robert Vance King
Mr. Robert Vance King, 64, passed away Sept. 29, 2013. He was born Aug. 23, 1949, in Pensacola to Robert Thomas King and Nina Carolyn Hendricks King.
Mr. King was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach and was Christian by faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era serving his country in the United States Marine Corps as an E-4 Corporal. He was currently employed with Emerald Grand as an assistant manager. He enjoyed golfing, working in his yard, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Mr. King is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William E. King.
Mr. King is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Janet King; children, Marc King and wife Renee, Carolynn Dorsey and husband Alan, Chris Williams and wife Britni, Vivian Kisiel and husband John, Andrew Williams, Avery King, Amity King; brother, David King and wife Darlene; sister, Linda Schultz and husband Dennis; and four grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Oct. 7 at Point Washington United Methodist Church, 1290 North County Hwy. 395 in Santa Rosa Beach.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Spencer Turnipseed officiating and full military honors.
Floral arrangements are being accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association at 1101 Northchase Parkway, Marietta, GA 30067.
Memorialization will be by cremation.

Mrs. Reacy Morgan Little
Mrs. Reacy Morgan Little, 84, passed away at the family residence Sept. 28, 2013. She was born May 29, 1929, in Vero Beach, Fla., the daughter of George Hartford Morgan and Violet Carmichael Mundy Morgan.
She is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Morgan Little; her husband, Jack Little; and her brother, George Morgan.
Among survivors are her son, Ken and wife Margaret Ellen “Gator” of Santa Rosa Beach; grandchildren, John Morgan “Jack,” Judith Kathryn “Kit,” and James Robert; and sisters-in-law, Grace Marse and husband Hugh of Point Washington, Anita Tankersley and Tim Peaco of Mount Pleasant, S.C., and Lorraine Barrett Morgan of Point Washington.
A time of visitation will be held from 9:30-10 a.m. Oct. 1 at First United Methodist Church, Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs, with the funeral beginning at 10 a.m. Dr. Larry Teasley will officiate.
Burial will follow in Point Washington Cemetery.
