Re: Guest column, Jan. 4, “A word about Matt Gaetz”

While you print fluff pieces about Matt Gaetz, let’s not forget what he is attempting to do in Washington, D.C.:

Undermine the rule of law.

Discredit the FBI and Robert Mueller to try and end the investigation into Russian hacking.

FACT: Seventeen intelligence agencies have concurred Russia hacked the DNC and released the emails via Wikileaks.

For some reason people think this is OK, that Russia can get away with this behavior. This is an attack on our democracy and a form of war. They have declared cyber warfare on the United States and the Trump administration is doing nothing to protect us from this. It is ongoing to this day. Trump invited them to hack us on national TV during one of his rallies. “Russia, if you can hear me. ...”

Matt Gaetz is a part of this after the fact. If he were so righteous he would be trying to protect our country and democratic elections from the Russians, not undermine our own FBI. To me, Gaetz is a traitor.
