Blush Beauty Lounge is not your typical day spa

Blush Beauty Lounge in Seagrove isn’t your typical day spa. Owner Jamie Gummere offers private, one-on-one sessions with her (and only her) to satisfy your every beauty need.

“I’m the only employee at Blush Beauty Lounge,” she said. “That’s what makes it so special. I can build a relationship with every one of my clients and they know they’ll get that consistent, high level of care every time they book an appointment.”

Blush Beauty Lounge is a full-service spa that offers wedding makeup, skin care, mild and mid depth peels, organic sunless tanning, full-body waxing and lash extensions. The lounge also sells retail products, such organic sunscreen and skincare, and Gummere hopes to add a cosmetic line sometime soon.

“I love working with women and helping them look and feel beautiful,” Gummere said. “It's such a good feeling to see a woman look at herself in the mirror and smile at her reflection. It's the best compliment I can receive as a beauty expert.”

Gummere’s passion for beauty started when she was just a little girl. She recalled concocting hair conditioners and face masks from recipes she found in her mother’s “mom magazines” at the young age of 8. And although she admits to getting in trouble for using all the eggs and oils in her mom’s pantry, she just couldn’t help herself.

“I feel like this was always my calling,” Gummere said. “I love helping women look and feel good, pretty and confident. And I love the relationships I’ve built with my clients. I never feel like I’m at work, but that I’ve spent the day hanging out with my girlfriends.”

For the last 12 years, Gummere has shaped Blush Beauty Lounge with services and products that she personally loves and believes in. She designed the menu of service and product offerings as a “direct reflection” of her go-to beauty essentials.
