Michael Ogden knocked in three runs to lead SoWal in a 20-15 win over Emerald Coast Alarms in the Coed Division III Softball League at Morgan Sports Center.

Ogden belted a home run and a triple for three RBIs.

At the end of two innings, ECA held a small 7-6 lead. In the third, SoWal pulled ahead 10-8. The big difference in the game came in the fifth inning. ECA scored four run in the top half, and SoWal answered with the 10-run limit in the bottom for the win.

Cody Johnson hit two doubles for two RBIs for SoWal. Rae Richardson doubled and singled for an RBI, and Chip Pruitt hit a home run.

Jeff McAfee tripled, doubled and singled for three RBIs for ECA. Brandon Blyden hit three singles for an RBI and Aubrey Taylor connected for two singles for an RBI.

 

Fenders Collision 17, Misfits 3

In the first three innings, Fenders took a 7-2 lead. In the top of the sixth, Fenders exploded for 10 runs for the win.

Brad Degrases hit two doubles and two singles for four RBIs for Fenders. Jason Faipler tripled and hit two singles for two RBIs and Laura Mosely connected for three singles. Adam Mooney clobbered a home run.

Casey Leirer hit two doubles for two RBIs for Misfits. Brittney Mainor doubled and singled for an RBI, and Brandon Brookshaw tripled.
