After three weeks of play, the South Walton Junior Seahawks are undefeated, 3-0, in the Panhandle Youth Football Association.

This past Saturday, the Junior Seahawks beat the Fort Walton Beach Buccaneers 30-25.

As for the rest of the Seahawks, the Peewee lost 35-19 to the Buccaneers and the Senior Seahawks got shutout 35-0. The Seahawk Boomers lost to the Bucs as well.

Across the bay, the Freeport Bulldogs didn't fare well on the gridiron against the Walton Warriors. The Freeport Peewees lost 34-0, the Juniors lost 43-12, and the Seniors lost 42-6. The Bulldog Boomers also lost to Walton.

On the schedule for Sept. 15, South Walton will be on the road to Vernon. The Boomers will play at 9 a.m., followed by the Juniors at 10 a.m. The South Walton Peewees have a bye this week and the Seniors game has been canceled.

Freeport will travel to Fort Walton Beach to play the Buccaneers. All games will be played at Steve Riggs Stadium at Fort Walton Beach High School. The Boomer game is set for 11 a.m. The Peewees play at noon, followed by the Juniors at 1:30 p.m. and the Seniors at 3:30 p.m.
