2008 Hurlburt Adventure Race open to public

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. – Hurlburt Field is hosting a 2008 Adventure Race at 8 a.m., April 12, in Crestview. The event is open to the public.
The race consists of a seven-mile kayak down Shoal River, seven-mile hike/run and a seven-and-a-half-mile mountain bike course to the finish line.
The race is divided into five categories: singles male, singles female, doubles male, doubles female and coed. Pre-registration is required for all participants. Early registration is open until March 14 at $35 per person. Late registration, open until March 31, is $45 per person.
Participants must be 18 years or older and are required to provide their own equipment.
