Crestview names new volleyball coach

Staff Report

Former Baker volleyball and basketball standout Ashley Miller has been named the new volleyball coach at Crestview.

Miller, a 2005 Baker graduate, played a year of volleyball at Gulf Coast Community College. She then transferred to Florida State and graduated this spring.

Miller is the niece of longtime Gator assistant volleyball and basketball coach Kim Harrison.

"I'm going to be teaching the players to be hard-nosed players where they don't let the ball hit the floor, and they don't give up," Miller said. "You may not be the biggest or the fastest, but you can be the smartest and the strongest."
