Lady Seahawks demolish the Bucks
The South Walton Lady Seahawks dominated on the court to beat the visiting Bozeman Bucks 62-18 in varsity basketball action Tuesday night.
In the first quarter, the Seahawks stepped out to a 28-1 lead, then buried them in the second for a 49-3 advantage at the half.
With a running clock on the game after the intermission, the Seahawks cleared the bench giving everybody playing time.
“We played all 18 players,” said South Walton Coach Kevin Craig, a first in his more than 30 years of coaching.
The Seahawks put up seven points in the third and six in the fourth.
Scoring 10 points each for the Seahawks were Kati Trejo and MacKenzie Perot. M. C. Cunningham tossed in eight points, while Morgan Kennedy and Casey Perot each added six points.
Up next for the Lady Seahawks is a 6:45 p.m. game Monday at Freeport High.
