The South Walton High School Seahawk soccer team shows off their district championship trophy after Friday night's 2-1 win over Pensacola Catholic.

The South Walton Lady Seahawks defeated Pensacola Catholic 2-1 Friday night to capture the Class 2A District Girls Soccer championship title and a berth in the state playoffs.

With the win the Lady Seahawks advance to the Florida High School Athletic Association 2A Girls Soccer Regional Quarterfinals on Thursday when the Seahawks will host Florida High of Tallahassee for a 7 p.m. battle.

In Friday's win over Catholic, Yomira Arrese and Annie Kallay each booted in a goal to put the Seahawks on top.
