For more than 25 years, Fernando and Holly Guarachi have been heading up the tennis programs at Seascape Resort and with great success.
"We feel like more people have moved in that play tennis," Holly said.
"When they built the high-rises it brought in a new feeling," Fernando said, but it's still a family-oriented resort.
Seascape boasts eight clay courts that are open to the public.
"We do have a limited amount of outside memberships available," Fernando said.
Nevertheless, "You don't have to live on the resort to play here," Holly said.
Every Monday through Saturday from 9-11 a.m. Seascape offers a mixed doubles round robin.
"You don't have to sign up," Holly said. "Everybody just shows up and plays. And week-by-week we find out just how many people are on the resort."
In addition to play for the adults, Seascape tennis, hosts five sanctioned junior tournaments a year. They hosted one in March and April with the next one set to play in September.
They also have a Kids's Summer Tennis Camp June 2-Aug. 15.
